The team competed in four events and earned <strong>three first-place awards, four second-place awards, and two additional awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newstatic.dukekunshan.edu.cn\/dkumain\/wp-content\/uploads\/athletics\/2026\/09\/17103036\/%E5%9B%BE%E7%89%87-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15438\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Tai Chi Team Members&#8217; Awards<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Team captain and senior <strong>\u674e\u5146\u7487<\/strong>&nbsp;placed first in both the 32-Form Tai Chi Sword and 24-Form Tai Chi events. Sophomore <strong>Youzhu Wang<\/strong>&nbsp;also placed first in the 42-Form Tai Chi event, following several previous competitions in the event. Seniors <strong>Yicen Xie, Muhan Wang, and Haoyuan Zheng<\/strong>, along with sophomores <strong>Yishu Wang and Haihan Wang<\/strong>, also competed in their respective events and delivered solid performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newstatic.dukekunshan.edu.cn\/dkumain\/wp-content\/uploads\/athletics\/2026\/09\/17103400\/%E5%9B%BE%E7%89%87-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15439\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A Tai Chi athlete competes at the championship<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Youzhu, the competition was an opportunity to put her training into practice. \u201cI was still a little nervous in my previous competitions,\u201d she said. \u201cThis time, I felt much calmer. I was able to follow the rhythm I had developed in training, and that was what I was most satisfied with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newstatic.dukekunshan.edu.cn\/dkumain\/wp-content\/uploads\/athletics\/2026\/09\/17103706\/%E5%9B%BE%E7%89%87-3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15440\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A Tai Chi athlete performs during the competition<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several key team members were studying away from campus this semester and were unable to compete, which affected the team\u2019s overall lineup. Despite this, the members who competed performed well in their respective events. For some, it was their first provincial-level competition; for others, it was another opportunity to build confidence and refine their skills through competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newstatic.dukekunshan.edu.cn\/dkumain\/wp-content\/uploads\/athletics\/2026\/09\/17103752\/%E5%9B%BE%E7%89%87-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15441\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Tai Chi Team poses after the competition<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the athletes, the value of competition goes beyond the results. Each experience helps them better understand their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and grow through challenges.
