On January 21, 20 DKU students joined Athletics on a hiking trip from Lingyan Mountain to Baima Jian scenic – a classic hiking route named “Ling Bai route”. Lexi Fu, class of 2022 is one of them. Her first flag going into 2022 is to have a more energetic year and she certainly had a good start with this 9k expedition in the mountains of Suzhou.
“We climbed three mountains in total, walked for four and a half hours. Although we encountered some challenges along the way such as boulders that were difficult to climb, sand that was easy to fall on, and steep slopes that we could only grab onto a rope to descend, I was unbelievably happy.” Said Lexi, “I hope we can all carry on with the persistence, courage, and friendship we have gained from this trip.”
