Fitness Assessment Challenge
A total of 950 students participated in the National Student Physical Health Standard (NSPHS) assessment, completing tests such as sit-and-reach, standing long jump, 50-meter sprint, core strength exercises, and endurance runs. The high turnout reflected students’ enthusiasm for health and self-improvement.
In this test, the sophomore students delivered an outstanding performance, with a first-attempt pass rate exceeding 90% (excluding make-up test participants). Impressively, this year’s middle- and long-distance running events set remarkable records. The new record for the 1000-meter run is 2 minutes and 58 seconds, achieved by Yitian Jin, a sophomore. The best time for the 800-meter run is 3 minutes and 7 seconds, accomplished by Yuecheng Yang, also a sophomore. This year’s highest record for one-minute sit-ups reached 67 repetitions, while in the more challenging pull-up event, five students achieved a perfect score.

Recreation & Recharge Zone
This year’s Fitness Festival introduced, for the first time, an Energy Replenishment and Relaxation Zone. The wide variety of beverages and snacks, sponsored by the Student Services Office and Master Kong, provided delightful surprises for all participants. In the relaxation area, professional coaches led stretching sessions every 15 minutes, helping participants recover quickly and engage in exercise more scientifically. Beyond the physical activities, the photo zone captured countless memorable moments for everyone.
