The men’s football team secured 2 points after a hard-fought draw against NYUSH, while the women’s football team dominated the pitch, earning 4 points with two decisive victories.

The men’s basketball team achieved a perfect 4 points with two wins, while the women’s basketball team earned 2 points after splitting their matches against NYUSH and UNNC.

The badminton team and men’s volleyball team each claimed 1 win and 1 loss, earning 2 points apiece.

The tennis and table tennis teams displayed relentless sportsmanship throughout the day, with the table tennis team securing 2 points and the tennis team set to fight for more in the upcoming matches.

After the first day of exciting competitions, the latest team standings of the 25–26 Sino-Foreign University Cup UNNC Leg are now updated.

UNNC moves to the top of the table with 22 points, while DKU follows closely with 20 points. From football and basketball to badminton, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball, athletes from all three universities continued to showcase passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the court.

Overall Standings So Far

Final Standings

As the DKU leg and the UNNC leg have both concluded, the current overall standings of the 2025–2026 Sino-Foreign University Cup are now clear. After two legs, DKU and UNNC are tied for first place with 40 points.

Across the first two legs, student-athletes from all three universities demonstrated strong performance and great sportsmanship. Whether competing at home or away, they showed teamwork, resilience, and friendship, making the tournament about more than just results.

Looking Ahead to Nyush

The final leg will take place at NYU Shanghai on April 18–19, with the overall standings still wide open. We look forward to Team DKU carrying its momentum forward and defending its annual championship title, while all three universities continue to foster friendship through sport and deliver an even more exciting finale to the tournament.
