The Sport Clubs Advisory Council (SCAC) is composed of student-athlete leaders representing all sport clubs and varsity teams at DKU. Through monthly meetings, council members receive updates on Athletics initiatives, policies, and upcoming events while serving as official representatives for their respective teams and clubs.

SCAC provides a platform for student leaders to share feedback, raise concerns, and advocate for initiatives that benefit both their athletes and the broader sports community. By fostering open communication between student leaders and Athletics administration, the council ensures that student perspectives are reflected in decision-making processes.

Through collaboration, representation, and advocacy, SCAC plays a vital role in building a more responsive, inclusive, and engaging athletic environment at DKU.

Sports Club Executive Board (EB)

The Sports Club Executive Board (EB) serves as the administrative leadership body of the Sport Clubs Advisory Council (SCAC). Composed of student-athlete leaders from across DKU Athletics, the EB represents all student-led sport clubs within the university’s governance structure and works closely with Athletics leadership to ensure effective communication, operational excellence, and a positive student-athlete experience.

Each board member is assigned to specific clubs, providing mentorship and support to club leaders. The board also collects and reviews feedback from student-athletes to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall athletics experience.

In addition, the EB works on the planning and execution of Athletics events, including the annual Athletics Awards Ceremony, the Sino-Foreign University Cup (SFUC), and promotion of major events with cross-department engagement. Through weekly meetings, the EB promotes effective communication, responsible budget oversight, and a connected athletic community.
