Anna Poledna, is a Molecular Bioscience and Biogeochemistry major in the Class of 2025 from Austria.
She is the member of DKU Women’s Basketball Varsity Team, Yoga Club leader, and a pioneering force behind the new Climbing Club. As if there is not enough, she decided to “give a shot” and take on the rigorous “Conquer the Wall” marathon on the Great Wall of China. And yes, she won!
From October 24th to 27th, The DKU Tai Chi Varsity Team participates in the 15th China Handan International Tai Chi Competition, marking the DKU Varsity Team’s first time participation in an international- level game.
On September 29, 2024 DKU Invitational came to a successful close with the crowd cheering enthusiastically. This year the event attracted over 600 athletes from Duke Kunshan University, Wuhan University, Soochow University, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and other sports clubs. The competition covered various events including badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, frisbee, and tennis.
Xinhe (Celina) Li, is an undergraduate in the Class of 2026 from Jinan, China, is the captain of DKU Women’s Basketball Varsity Team.
From June 9th to 11th, the Judo Club at DKU Judo Club participated in the 2024 China National Collegiate Judo Championship, first-ever national-level collegiate sports event DKU Athletics participated, organized by the China Student Sports Federation
The climbing wall at the DKU Sports Complex held the first opening event since its completion, drawing around 200 climbing enthusiasts to join. This new addition has not only diversified the sports programs at DKU but also enhanced the students’ extracurricular activities.
