All children train enthusiastically as a team
Last summer, many faculty members reached out to us, sharing their struggles with childcare and arranging regular physical activities for their children during school breaks. In response to these real-life needs, we launched a sports program for faculty kids. This initiative was not organized solely by Athletics; it was a heartwarming project tailored to the demands of our teaching staff. The first session wrapped up smoothly, delivered great results, and won widespread praise from all teachers.

The coach provides meticulous guidance to the children on their techniques
Drawing on feedback from last year’s program, we have made comprehensive improvements this year. We refined every detail, from training curricula to coach scheduling, so all arrangements better match children’s athletic paces. Following the program upgrade, many teachers signed up voluntarily. Far more faculty children took part compared with last year. A total of 59 people registered, and 36 ultimately attended the event.

The children enjoy the training very much
The entire program is coordinated and managed by DKU Athletics, serving as an exclusive benefit for all school faculty. It encourages children to step outdoors, stay active and enjoy a fulfilling summer. Meanwhile, it eases teachers’ burden of childcare during vacations, allowing them to focus on their work with peace of mind. Every child gets to spend a joyful, rewarding summer through sports.
