Founded in 2018, the DKU Badminton Club aims to weave an enthusiastic community for shuttlecock enthusiasts and novices alike interested in engaging in badminton. Structure
Badminton Club
Anchored in regular activity, the club offers a variety of weekly practices and enjoys bringing the community together through events such as intramural tournaments and badminton watch parties. For those yearning for a light-hearted yet competitive sports engagement, the club competes with local badminton clubs and university teams on a recreational level. Weekly activities happen on the 4th floor of the sports complex, making the badminton courts a hub for sportsmanship and camaraderie among students, faculty, and staff members.
Varsity Team
The varsity badminton team, a competitive squad within the club, competes in the Sino-Foreign University League and engages in various regional tournaments. Practices are held three times a week at the sports complex’s dedicated badminton courts. With a focus on attention to detail, fundamentals, and a commitment to continuous improvement, the team welcomes new challenges each season.
