Since its inception, the DKU Volleyball Club has been a cornerstone of the university’s athletic department, featuring a men’s varsity team that claimed the Sino-Foreign University Cup in Spring 2024. With a mission rooted in promoting growth, camaraderie, and leadership through sport, the program has swiftly become central to DKU’s vibrant athletic culture. It offers student-athletes the opportunity to evolve from hobbyists to competitors, actively participating in the Sino-Foreign University League and other intercollegiate tournaments. Our comprehensive program supports students in merging their sporting passions with their academic goals, fostering well-rounded success.

Structure

Volleyball Club

At the foundation of our program lies the volleyball club, where members meet two times a week at the multipurpose courts of the sports complex to develop their skills and build lasting camaraderie. The club organizes a variety of activities designed for the entire DKU community, ranging from recreational play to events like volleyball watch parties and the annual intramural tournament. It welcomes both the volleyball devoted and emerging leaders eager to mold the future of our club and expand our legacy.

Varsity Team

Our varsity team is the pride of DKU, following its success in the 2023-2024 Sino-Foreign University Cup. Continuous growth and improvement define the essence of our team, which practices at the multipurpose courts of the sports complex. Upholding standards of excellence paralleling academic virtues—respect, scholarly achievement, responsibility, resilience, and holistic growth—are non-negotiable for our student-athletes. The men’s volleyball team, through its commitment, fosters a community that helps shape DKU’s identity.
