Founded on the principles of building a strong community and fostering leadership through sport, the DKU Women’s Football Club champions diversity and inclusivity on the field. Since its initiation in 2023, the club has not only become one of the fastest-growing and diverse teams but also a beacon of athletic and academic excellence at Duke Kunshan University. As a proud contender in the Sino-Foreign University League, our varsity team symbolizes the spirit of competition and camaraderie, instilling a sense of unity among teammates and supporters alike. The club offers regular practice sessions, competitive league matches, and a host of social activities that nurture student-athlete growth and a vibrant campus sports culture.

Structure

Football Club

Kick-off weekly at the DKU Sports Complex’s Football Stadium, where club members gather to train and compete. Beyond the three scheduled practice sessions each week, the women’s team actively engages in annual intramural tournaments and spirited football watch parties. All these aim to bolster the ties within the club while also inviting the wider campus to share in the joy and passion for football.

Varsity Team

The heart and soul of women’s football at DKU are encapsulated in our varsity team’s dedication. Facing off in the Sino-Foreign University League, our athletes are driven by a shared vision to excel, practicing three times a week at our state-of-the-art Football Stadium. The coaching philosophy is centered on mutual respect, the relentless pursuit of greatness, and active community involvement — presenting an empowering image that attracts supporters across the DKU campus.
