Chinese Dance (DKCD)

The Duke Kunshan Chinese Dance Club (DKCD) is a vibrant student-led organization at Duke Kunshan University, established in 2019 by pioneering undergraduates from the class of 2022. Dedicated to the celebration and dissemination of traditional Chinese dance, DKCD acts as a beacon for those wishing to immerse themselves in a vital aspect of Chinese culture. Through a variety of events tailored to suit a diverse range of participants, the club encourages exploration and expression in the art of Chinese dance. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned dancer, DKCD offers a rich experience through repertory classes, practice sessions, and film screenings showcasing the beauty and diversity of Chinese dance.

DKCD proudly performs at numerous university-wide and external events, like the DKU Spring Festival Gala and the DKU Dance Festival, along with a variety of other athletic events, capturing the hearts of audiences while promoting cultural exchange and understanding. The club stands as a testament to the university’s commitment to cultural appreciation and the arts.
