The DKU Tennis Club was established in 2019. The club’s recent elevation to varsity status is a testament to its commitment, growth, and the rising talent among its members. We aim to foster a cohesive community bonded by the love of tennis, facilitate the development of our members’ skills on the court, and nurture leadership qualities that transcend sport. We are committed to the holistic development of student-athletes, mirroring the balance of physical wellness and academic excellence valued at our institution.

Structure

Tennis Club

The club offers weekly activities that promote physical wellness and camaraderie. Through these sessions, members of all skill levels are welcome to participate, whether to improve their game or simply enjoy the sport in a social setting. Themed events such as intramural tennis and friendly matches with neighboring institutions throughout the academic year provide a platform for integrating tennis into the broader DKU experience.

Varsity Team

The DKU varsity tennis team competes in the Sino-Foreign University League and other seasonal tournaments in Jiangsu Province. Practice sessions take place at the Sports Complex, where technique, strategy, and teamwork are honed under the guidance of our coaching staff. Just as we uphold values such as respect and academic excellence at DKU, our varsity athletes embody these principles through their dedication to the sport and their development as individuals.
